How does a sound bath work at a corporate offsite or retreat?

We are based in Toronto and we travel, across Canada, the US and beyond. We have played a retreat on a deck in Muskoka at sunset, WAP Sustainability's team retreat in Chicago, teams in San Francisco and Scottsdale, four-day retreats in Sedona, and rooms of every size across the Greater Toronto Area. London, Ontario is next on the calendar. Over Zoom we have reached a team in India for Adobe.

If your offsite is somewhere we have not been yet, tell us where. Travel beyond an hour of Toronto, whether that is Calgary, New York or Lisbon, is worked out with you before anything is booked.

Most planners put a sound bath in a break. We ask for the slot just before one. A conference day is a lot of information, and a thirty-minute reset before the break lets people actually take in what they have just heard.

Earlier in the day is better than later. Done right, it sends people back energised, not sleepy. Some teams open the whole retreat with it, first thing, as a way to ground into the day.

One thing we always avoid: straight after lunch. On a full stomach people simply fall asleep. Before people eat, every time.

For a multi-day offsite we love the morning, as the way each day starts. Some teams prefer the evening instead, after a full day, as the way to wind down before bed. Either works; we help you choose.

We bring the bowls, every instrument, and mats and cushions if you want people on the floor. Indoors, a room where people can sit or lie down is enough.

Outdoors, a session needs microphones and speakers, which most venues have and we can arrange if not. The sunset session in Muskoka was played this way, on a deck beside the water.

A half day, a full day or an overnight, planned end to end. Sound is one part. We run workshops and mindset coaching alongside it, in the themes we work in most: creativity, communication, listening and intuition. When the day needs another practitioner, we bring one in.

We have done this for teams of six and for rooms of three thousand, for Intuit, Adobe, WAP Sustainability, the Ontario Medical Association and the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario's annual conference.

At a conference we patch into the house sound system and work with the AV team, so there is nothing extra to hire. We have opened a main stage, run breakout rooms, and done a twenty-minute reset between keynotes.

Four days with us in Sedona, for a small team of six or so. Planned end to end: accommodation, restaurants, time on the trails and in the mountains. You arrive and we handle the rest. Priced on request.
