Whatever the room already is
We have run these in boardrooms with the laptops still open, in lounges with people on sofas, in event spaces with three hundred people on the floor, and on a conference stage.
Nobody changes clothes. Nobody is asked to sit on the floor, and nobody is asked to sit in a chair either. People arrange themselves however they are comfortable and we work around that.
Reading a room is most of the job. Knowing when a group needs ten more minutes of explanation before they can settle, and knowing when explanation is the last thing they need, is the part that cannot be bought with better equipment.
